New Beginnings

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I do not have a way with words… that is unless it has to do with writing a scientific article or report for school, because, man, that can just be full sentence bullet points at times. But hopefully that is about to change.

New years bring new beginnings, or in my case, pandemics bring fruition to years-long dreams. Ever since purchasing my first DSLR in 2013, I have always wanted to pursue photography more than just a hobbyist, but in an entrepreneurial sense. Now what genre or scope didn’t matter at the time, but over the years after learning what I enjoy to photograph most, constant learning and growth, I have found myself fascinated with the world of landscape and adventure photography. This may or may not have been fueled during my Basic Mountaineering course. Once I nailed down my interest, and had some time to mull about the idea, I have decided to take that leap into the unknown and start my journey of becoming a landscape photographer.

So here we are now, in the year 2020, living in uncertain times and drastic and confusing hoarding circumstances, I want to bring a glimmer of hope and have thus created my first ever website! I welcome you, to hollywalterphotography.com.
