On December 11, 2022 at 2:27 am EST, the SpaceX rocket Falcon 9 launched from LC-40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The rocket launched the Hakuto-R Mission 1 for iSpace carrying the first commercial lunar lander to the moon. The mainstage booster returned to CCSFS LZ-2 after separating from the payload.
