On December 8, 2022 at 5:27 pm EST, the SpaceX rocket Falcon 9 launched from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center. The rocket launched a batch of 40 satellites for the OneWeb satellite constellation in order to provide global internet broadband service to individual consumers.
