On January 3, 2023 at 9:55 am EST, the SpaceX rocket Falcon 9 launched from SLC-40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The rocket launched a “rideshare” program, carrying a total of 114 different payloads from various aerospace firms and organizations. This SmallSat Rideshare Program allows smaller companies or payloads to be launched into orbit that may be too small for their own individual missions on a regularly scheduled and dedicated Falcon 9 rideshare missions. The booster B1060 completed its 15th flight and landed at LZ-1.
